  2. Hello!

You have the perfect, "not too perfect" bun. How do you get your hair to do that? My hair is about the same length and I would love for my hair do that....but how? Have any secrets there?

    Thanks,
    Johanna Bloom

  6. Just found your blog...love it ! I have been looking for some good white t-shirts for spring? I just can't find a good one. What do you recommend?
It seems like just a basic thing, but it is very hard to find a good one.
    Thanks.

  8. A while back you posted about this great pure body cami from the Gap. I bought it in black and white and love it. I'm now searching for a nude color cami to go under all these thin tops for spring/summer. The pure body doesn't come in nude or beige. Do you have any suggestions for a good one?
    Thanks!

  9. I've recently seen a lot of people wearing denim jackets (regular and sleeveless) with summer dresses. Where do I find one?

  13. I had seen these wide horizontal striped a-lined skirts here there for years. A boutique designer here a more well known label there. Last night on Instagram I saw Carolina Herrera wearing a black and white wide striped skirt (think 50's design) paired with a black blazer. GENIUS. Would love wear to find these skirts as I live in south Georgia and try to purchase items that can be worn all year long. But what I would love are some ideas on how to make work/business dress more fun/edgier without the total hooker/trashy approach. Classic pieces that have a twist.

Another blog post would be to have readers send you those items that are GORGEOUS must haves yet for the life of us cannot figure out how to pair them with anything. For example have a pair of green wedge strappy sandals that are FAB but cannot figure out how to pair them with anything. Happy to help with ideas. Have a whole closet of that. ;)

Love your Blog. LOVE IT. Would love to enlist your services possibly as well.

    1. Hi Carly! Your blog and style are both great... love all of your tips and outfit ideas!! I have a quick question about the Faux Leather Moto Jacket from The Limited. I ordered it after seeing your posts. Where the faux leather is, does it look like real leather? Or more fabric-y? I'm just trying to make sure what I got was the right thing... I love the cut and style but was expecting it to look more leather-like. Just wondering if that's how its suppose to be! (When I called The Limited, the customer service rep wasn't really able to help me since it's no longer available in their system so I wanted to ask someone who has it!) Thanks a ton for your help!

    2. Hi Emelie,
It looks like fabric with a leather peeble-y sheen on the top of it. I hope this helps.

  17. I have two blog ideas that I'd love to see: 1) sources for tall women clothing (besides Eddie Bauer, Old Navy, etc.) and 2) workout wear, specifically underwear that are comfy, don't ride up and don't create panty lines.

  18. Hi Carly,

I love your blog! I have a question for you...when I see your pics with booties you typically have your jeans rolled to the top. Is that the way you always do it? If you tuck your jeans inside, do you have any tricks for keeping the pants to stay down and not ride up. This is a much bigger problem with shorter booties rather than long boots. Thanks for your tips!

    1. Love your scarf selection! I've been wearing a Lululemon one that I can't get enough of...throwing a scarf on is a great way to spruce up an outfit and stay warm particularly with the bitter cold weather we've been experiencing on the east coast! Keep the scarf pics coming please!

  20. I bought the steal version of the Rag and Bone booties that you suggested and love them. I was in Dallas a couple of weeks ago and I had a girl come up to me to tell me that she loved my Rag and Bone booties. I was so excited that they passed as the real thing!

  21. Now that winter is almost gone, and spring and summer are just around the corner, I was hoping you could so a "spring and summer basics" post. For example, what are some pieces that you consider to be essential (and versatile?) during the spring? What are some items that you seem to wear over and over again (and are therefore worth the splurge)? I am ready to start shopping but I feel like I need to get "the basics" before I start purchasing the fun extras. Thanks so much!

  27. Hey Carly! I am a big fan of your blog! I am hoping you can help me out a little. I am really needing to buy a new pair of jeans. I love all of your citizens of humanity jeans that you wear, but I have just started my first job and money is tight I was hoping you had some suggestions for good quality jeans that are a little less expensive. The last few pairs I have bought have been from Ann Taylor Loft but I have found they fade, stretch and don't last long. I hope you have some suggestions. Thanks so much!

  28. I have a quick question! Do you know of a really good cami that is satin and not cotton? I have some good cotton ones from gap, but when I wear a cotton shirt over them the 2 materials stick together and can look "bunchy." I feel like if I could find a good cami made of satin then the fabrics wouldn't stick. Any thoughts?
